Resurrecting myself from my hiatus to remind you all that if we let linguistics label what is and isn’t Iranian then well over 30% of Iranians would lose their Iranian status. And I’m not willing to lose my heritage over linguistic differences. Back to hiatus.
Every night I have a special supplication for all the mothers out there who are stuck in abusive marriages and do not have the means to leave. For a lot of them, leaving would mean not seeing or being able to take care of their kids. We need to remember them. They should be our communities’ top priority.
